Thank You!!!!
Friends and family, THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I would just like to say that I had incredible week. The twenty five other girls who I competed with were, by far, the best group of women that I have ever had the pleasure of being around. This week was such a blast and I feel strongly that each of them deserve the Miss New York crown as much as I do. I hope that I can learn and grow from every title...
Prelim Night 1
I’m pleased to announce that my talent went AHMAZING! I had a blast and I left it all on stage. I’ve felt that way about each phase so far today…. I’m leaving nothing behind. My on stage question felt a little silly, but what better way to show my personality? I’ll take that over ridiculously difficult any day. :)
Congratulations to Desiree Wiley, Miss Niagra, on...
Interview Down....
And it was amazing!!!!!!!
I always take it as a good sign when someone asks if you’re ready to be Miss America. I’ll just leave it at that. ;)
I feel like my conversation with them was an awesome balance between my
personality and showing my business side. I let them know that I have plans for this organization and I also have the personality to drive them. I think it went very...
Day Three Down!
Well… Glad that’s done! Today was a 12 hour day of rehearsals and, boy, did it feel like it. It was really nice, though, to just spend the day in comfy clothes and with all of the other girls. We have have a fierce show! I’d spill the beans on our song selections, but I reckon I might get in trouble by Kent (our producer). ;) I’ll just let you know that there’s a...
I realized early on that success was tied to not giving up. Most people in this...

My Nana just shared this quote with me yesterday and it hit home like no other. This week has been a blast so far, but i’m not going to lie…I want to be Miss New York. However, should that not be what’s in the cards, I can spend the rest of my life knowing that I...
St. Adalbert School
This morning’s Project Empower event at St. Adalbert’s school was amazing. We were each paired with a group of 5 or 6 Seventh Graders and asked to come up with a bullying campaign. Ours was awesome!!
Stephen, Sam, John, Joe and Ahmed came up with a great slogan “Don’t be a fool, bullying is cruel!”
Our poster had 5 ways you can help yourself if you are being...

One Day Down! 5 More to Go!
Well, our longest day is officially done. And let me tell you…it. was. long.
I woke up for a little jog this morning and I felt great! I was so lucky that Christina Moore, Miss Verazano, and her parents were willing to come pick me up and give me a ride to Staten Island. We arrived early and were able to settle in to our rooms before heading to the lobby to meet all of the other girls.

-John F. Kennedy
My father’s best friend, Sean, gave me a framed copy of this quote years ago as he helped me embark on my journey to New York. I must say, i’m not sure that I understood the meaning of what he was saying by presenting me with such a life lesson.
I get it now.
